Crandall ISD

Crandall ISD: Incorporated in 1901, Crandall ISD’s award-winning schools offer programs such as Pre-AP, AP, and Dual Credit programs (through Trinity Valley Community College).  Their Career and Technical Education presents students with the opportunity to learn and practice other critical workplace characteristics: critical thinking, problem-solving, team building, communication, and leadership. Crandall ISD’s CTE programs of study allow students to achieve excellence by preparing them for college opportunities, career preparation and advancement, and meaningful work experiences.

Crandall Independent School District serves more than 4,500 students, approximately 550 employees, and includes eight campuses that serve seven communities over 100 square miles.

Workforce Training & Higher Education

Trinity Valley Community College provides accredited college-level courses and Associate’s Degrees, as well as a critically acclaimed nursing school, at their campus in the nearby neighboring community of Terrell. Local workforce training is also available through a partnership between the Texas Workforce Commission and Trinity Valley Community College with the Texas Skills Development Fund.

In addition to TVCC, the Crandall Community is also served by Texas State Technical College in nearby Red Oak which offers courses and certifications in high demand technical fields.

In addition to TVCC, Crandall is just minutes away from major, accredited higher education institutions such as Southern Methodist University , The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas A&M University at Commerce, and The University of Texas at Arlington.
